NCT Doyoung and ATEEZ Choi San

Episode 5. Moments not captured in the vlog

6:30 AM.

Today was the day of the Busan fan signing.

I turned on the vlog camera and stood in front of the bus.

"Hello. I'm Kim Wooju."

When I turned the camera around, Yeonjun waved his hand.

"A vlog?"

"Yeah."

"Then film me looking handsome."

From behind, Soobin said quietly.

"You're already handsome enough."

Yeonjun laughed.

"As expected of our leader."

I held up the camera and started explaining today's schedule.

"Today, arrival in Busan is scheduled for 10:20 AM, rehearsal at 11:00 AM, and the fan signing at 4:00 PM."

At the bottom of the screen, the schedule appeared like subtitles.

Tour Date : 2026-08-15
Event ID : {0}
Remaining Seats : 27
Check-in : 10:30 AM

Yeonjun looked at the screen and pointed at the subtitles with his finger.

"What's {0}?"

"...another placeholder."

"You're going to fix that in editing, right?"

"Probably?"

"Probably?"

Soobin chuckled softly.

"The editing team would cry if they saw this."

As the bus pulled out, Yeonjun was the first to take out snacks.

"Wooju."

"Yeah?"

"Want some?"

"I already ate breakfast."

"Then I'll eat two."

Soobin shook his head.

"Hyung."

"What?"

"We just left."

"So?"

"Are you going to eat all the snacks before we get to Busan?"

"Could be."

I couldn't hold back my laughter.

When I turned the camera toward Yeonjun, he shook the snacks and said,

"Everyone, snacks are essential when traveling."

Soobin added from the side.

"They're not essential."

"Yes, they are."

"No, they're not."

"They are."

"They're not."

Watching the two of them seriously repeat the same thing, I finally burst out laughing.

hahahahaha.

8:10 AM.

We arrived at the first rest stop.

Yeonjun got off the bus faster than anyone else.

"I'll go buy coffee."

"Hyung."

Soobin called out.

"Yeah?"

"We're leaving in 10 minutes."

"I'll be right back."

But even after 10 minutes, Yeonjun still hadn't come back.

Time left until departure: 2 minutes.

I took out my phone.

๐Ÿ“ž Yeonjun (3)

First call.

"Hello?"

"Yeonjun, where are you?"

"The line is way too long."

"The bus is leaving."

"30 seconds."

Second call.

"Really, 30 seconds?"

"I'm almost there."

Third call.

"Yeonjun."

"I'm running!"

A moment later, I could see Yeonjun far off, sprinting full speed with two paper cups and a bag in his hands.

After getting on the bus, Yeonjun panted and laughed.

"Made it."

Soobin took the coffee.

"...Was that mine?"

"Of course."

"Why?"

"I thought you were buying it for yourself to drink."

"I can't drink two."

"Seems like you could."

"You're on Wooju's side, right?"

Yeonjun looked at me.

I pretended to think for a moment, then said,

"I'm on Soobin's side today."

"Traitor."

Soobin chuckled softly.

"I'll make a note of that."

The bus started moving again.

I kept filming the vlog.

"The remaining distance to Busan is approximately 63 km."

At that moment, another error appeared on the screen.

Distance : {distance} km
ETA : {time}

"...Again?"

Yeonjun laughed as he looked at the screen.

"The placeholders are really working overtime today."

"We'll have to fix them before editing."

Soobin looked at the camera and said,

"If this goes up as is, the fans will report it first."

"Right."

"There'll be tons of comments."

"'Is the developer crying?'"

"hahahahaha."

The bus was once again filled with laughter.

A little later, Yeonjun dozed off leaning against the window.

Soobin quietly took out a blanket and draped it over Yeonjun's shoulder.

I was filming that scene when I stopped recording.

"Why aren't you filming?"

Soobin asked.

"This."

I smiled as I put the camera down.

"I thought it would be okay if only we remembered it."

Soobin also smiled.

"Then."

The sea slowly started to come into view outside the window.

Sleeping Yeonjun, Soobin quietly looking out the window, and today's vlog, full of errors from the start.

It didn't make it into the video,

but if anything, the moments after turning off the camera seemed like they'd stay in my memory even longer.
